Special Issue (long story long)
Yes, I’ve been lazy. But it hasn’t been easy!
So many people to see and to party with - ehm - that when I was coming back, it was too late to start writing something. Today, then, special issue! A resume of (at least) last week…
…our story begins in the weekend of the 17th of January.
Pablo and Garci invited us for dinner in their place. Spanish style, nice food, good people, drinks and herbs. The event, originally planned for 21 o’clock, really begun around midnight, when everybody was already at his 5th glass of wine. Let’s say we were more happy then hungry, but it wasn’t a reason to leave something on the table. I took a picture of some ‘Saltimbocca alla Romana’ that Aldo & Armando made. Even if the aspect it’s … well, they were delicious.
In the same hrs, Dalia decided to drop by from Milan, just to spend few days in Delft with Guga. Of course this bring us peace for our belly. In fact, every time Dalia is coming from Italy, her luggage contains a large variety of italian delicatessen we can’t say no. So, it was a brunch on saturday afternoon, just after being recovered from the spanish adventure.
Feeling satisfied of the calories earned in 24 hrs, it was time for good music! Then it came the sunday with the Dream Theater concert in Ahoy R’dam… They played for three hrs and when we asked for the encore, this lasted for 20 mins of pure ‘progressive’. Great. The day after I went to work with the t-shirt of the concert (Train of Thoughts ‘04), still smelling of beer and smoke and rock. I was proud. My colleagues a bit less 
This weekend instead, Barbara and Zdenka came to visit me. For Ba it was her first time here back after our erasmus together. She was so touched. Of course this was a very good reason to celebrate, so the saturday night we had dinner with old and new erasmus, few bottles of good spirit (few it’s a number of 2 digits) and a special salmon based recipe Zdenka cooked for us. This was also the weekend of Susanna’s return in Delft! Finally, one of my best friend will be here for few months. She was full of good qualities when she left, now she even became Mac addicted… =)
I know, that’s not the way to keep a blog. But I’m still, only, human.
