Andrea & Michela In A’dam
Last weekend I had the visit of my brother and his girlfriend… so I took some time to spend with them and I enjoyed being a tourist again in Amsterdam 
It was a freezing weekend, windy but sunny and… part of my family reached me here in NL! My brother Andrea and his girlfriend Michela came for few hours and they wanted to relax in Amsterdam (!?!?!?) How is that possible? First, visiting a couple of museums… that’s enough to sit in a cafe’ for the rest of the day. Then, Red Light district, Dam, Rokin and so on…
But when the ‘where should we have dinner?’ question arisen, we had real fun. I wanted them to try something they’ll never have in Italy, so Thai restaurant. Good, tasteful, spicy…
Then we found a Febo-wall.
For the people that are not living in NL: Febo is a chain of automatic distributors of snacks and hamburgers. Mainly, it is a wall with small windows. You insert a 1 euro coin and you’re entitled to open the small windowed box and get its content (in dutch is literally ‘eating out the wall’). Warm, fat and… well, it’s junk food, but people here seems to survive with it.
Now, my brother was fascinated from the exotic and he even wanted a picture while proceeding.
He didn’t sleep well at all.
Moreover, he has been so shocked that for the rest of the weekend he was irremovable: I needed to eat in italian pizzerias… Now he has a funny story to tell to his grandchildren
