Colmar (+ the washing machine)

chronicles

What’s better than a weekend in France, the land of the croissants and baguettes, the country of the impressionists, the realm of romanticism?
Eventually in my case, only 2 croissant, a bite of baguettes, no art (ok, maybe somebody will consider as art the washing machine… read more), love and romanticism for sure (details are private ) ), but there’s much more!

In fact, you appreciate good and beautiful things only if after you suffered a bit. Well, I didn’t suffer, I only sweat, but anyway, here’s the story.
Since I was in Joe and Zdenka’s house, I helped them and their friends in Joe’s moving to his new apartment. I woke up around 8,30 and I found myself (a myself in boxers, sleepy and hungry and whatever you can feel on saturday morning when you’re just awake) surrounded by at least 7 people extremely active and motivated, ready to start working, dismantling, moving, carrying, loading, downloading furniture.
Oh, gosh.
There it comes the first croissant in help.
After having recontacted planet Earth by means of a black coffee, I joined this group of Joe’s friends. At lunch time we’ve already moved his entire room (+ his washing machine) up to the 5th floor (no lift) where his new appartment is. Now, everytime I’m washing my clothes, I keep thinking about that block of 20 kilos of concrete inside such an ingenuos and innocuos domestic appareil.

That was enough to suffer isn’t it? I mean… hopefully, the day after we were invited to see some friends in Colmar, small cute Alsatian town.
It was a warm sunny day and me and Joe tryied to capture everything with our digital… so, from now on, the story will be told by pictures!

Well, since I realize that now I am on the net (I want to say, that the picture of my own is trough the wires of this big big machine that is internet) I will be a bit little more careful for my body… nice photos, we need to do much more, more often….
