Albazilla Version 4.6.1
New features for this new Albazilla! Now it’s possible to send an entire post via mail to a friend! Just click on the ‘email it’ link under each post and follow the instructions (easy, man…).
And more: a weather condition for Delft, at the bottom of the sidebar, a poll (that will change following my mood…) and (!!!) pointing your mobile browser to wap.albazilla.com, you can have this site in wap version (still not perfect, but…).
And more over the more: pointing your mobile browser to gmobile.albazilla.com you can check your gmail account, in simple html.
Do you think it’s enough? naaaaaaaaaa…..

…a weather condition for Delft on the sidebar! Man, a grey icon on your page 90% of the time.. are you sure of that?!?!
Today, the dew point was one degree lower than the air temp… This meaning that all the water on the atmosphere could suddenly pour on you without any warning
and it did!!!

I didn’t check the wap & mobile things yet.. You know, it’s difficult for me to use the phone just to call and receive calls… imagine wapping & ‘netting around in one of those tiny things… not for me!
But I dont think its enough!!! Keep on adding AlbaGadgets!! They’re zupa, and maybe some of them will be useful one day

Zupazupa! thanks guga… for these next days, the gallery will be updated with a new (harder,better,stronger…) version. There’s also a way to integrate the forum with the blog, but I’m afraid all this will mess up, since the forum (phpBB engine) is huge and complicated. I keep on looking though for new features to add.

No, because, when you’ll have 20.000 users, they will create albazilla by themselves… cofff cofff..
Coooool-cool is to integrate the buitenlander mailings in this.. a mailserver/list, all synchronised with the forum, all with the rss thingy! Doen’t your hosting service let you do mailing lists? What about your closet-server.. is it running already??

yes, I’m an engineer, the wikizilla will be soon. And it will be wiki.albazilla.com. stay tuned.
btw, I’ve just discovered this was my 100th post on albazilla, I’m going to celebrate.
the mailinglist can be done, on petracci.it though (like buitenlanders@petracci.it). what do you think?

no, unfortunately we’re already asking our users to take part to InZilla, devoted to photograph their intestins, and to MicroZilla, with the mission of mapping the insects living in our houses…
buitenlanders@petracci.it doesn’t change much from the one we already have, no? just the attachments… and then maybe Vasco will feel bad…

Xit! A casual sugestion about installing a wiki on the 26th, and 3 days later (29th) there are something like 80 ‘articles’ already there!! amazing!!
check it out if you still didn’t.. (but be prepared to loose some time on it, it’s addictive! Maybe it should be renamed be called crackazilla or cocazilla
