The Wiki is taking over!

trends

Since Albazilla has been (slightly) revisited, couple of weeks ago, new features have been introduced beside the classic blog.

First, a Gallery, linked to the blog users, that allows unlimited uploads, album grouping and online slideshows. It is also possible (upon request) to set a 3rd level domain like myself.albazilla.com pointing to the user gallery. Check for instance guga.albazilla.com.

Second, a Wiki has been introduced. At the beginning I didn’t know exactly what it was for and why I should have set one linked to albazilla… but then, oh, it’s sooooooo addictive! Basically it’s a database of free pages that everyone can create and edit (even other users pages!) that builds up like a sort of universal knowledge of whatever.
Each page can be linked to any other, and if the link it’s not existing yet, well, maybe somebody will pickup the challenge and will write something about it. Why it’s addictive? Because the more you browse, the more you keep on editing, adding, linking… In 4 days, more than 100 pages have been created, a sort of parallel univers made by all of us, freely accessible and customizable.
Trust me, it’s easier for you to experience than me talking, so why don’t you have a look at wiki.albazilla.com? (and I can come back to some wikiwiki ) ).
