On the top
…of the mountains of Slovakia! This last weekend was totally ‘nature oriented’. Me and Zdenka went for a reunion of the Wappacomo Minal tribe, the 15 years gathering, and it was simply marvelous. Guided by Edo, the same chief of those times, and his wife, we spent our days in one of the national parks of Slovakia, sleeping in a mountain lodge at about 800 meters of altitude. With no electricity (hence, no hot water, no phones, not even mobile coverage) but with fireplace and stoves…
Nobody was around (and only people that lived in NL or NY can understand), for kilometers. The promenades to the mountain’s top were just recharging your spirit and your body, while walking through beautiful hills and valleys, and the starry nights (again, you have to live in NL to understand what is a clear sky), were making you feel like a little sand grain of this huge miracle…
Many of the people with us now have families and live far, but they didn’t hesitate to be part of all this. Everything has been organized with simplicity and effectiveness, and we left that place hoping to come back, one day, again.

C’est une blague, vous y avez été au printemps… la végétation est incroyable ! le vert de l’herbe et les couleurs des fleurs… les crocus ça pousse quand la neige commence à fondre… ça y est g trouvé… en fait c’est un endroit merveilleux et magique où c’est toujours le printemps. c’est ça… ???
blague à part, ça avait l’air bien sympa. Vous avez du faire le plein de bon air … au fait qui a coupé le bois pour la cheminée ???
