Witch Hunting
Witch hunting in LA, but the communist ones, those who eat the childrens.
An ex-student association in UCLA, the Bruin Alumni, pays 100$ to the classroom that will denounce radical or excessive liberal profs which are making of their hours of lesson a propagandistic/mind forging/off-topic proselytism instrument.
It sounds like an encouragement to democracy and free thinking. The Bruin Alumni also published a list on the net, the dirty 30, containing the names of the most dangerous teachers… but this ended up containing only the names of left winged professors, including the most respectable and famous ones!
You can read the full story here.
Now, it is true that sometimes professors are responsible of a biased teaching, but this action sounds a bit fascist… and the Bruin Alumni already collected 22.000$ from external sponsor, to continue in its mission.

Bruin Alumni … I wonder if the name comes from the Dutch language?

regardless of the message or leanings of the professors in question, it is i believe entirely selfish of the professors to spout/preach their individual/personal beliefs and ideas in a classroom environment if it detracts from the educational matter at hand. While I understand that college or university is a place to not only educate oneself, but also for personal growth, it is very selfish of the professor to abuse their podium position to try to influence the student population.
