Double Heart
While the new Apple’s laptop get a free upgrade in their new dual-core Intel processors, bumping up to 2.3GHz in their 15″ aluminum machine, Microsoft announces a patch to address the issues of power drain on laptops running Windows on an Intel dual-core laptops. Well, Microsoft announces pretty much, but releases pretty little, and bugged.
Why everybody find normal to reboot, format and reinstall their pc’s, but would think crazy to reboot a dish-washer or a fridge? I mean, some fridges can do much more than produce cold, still we accept our computers to behave like (or worse?) 10 years ago (remember Windows ‘95)?
I don’t. I use a Mac. In two years I never formatted / reinstalled. I did few days ago, but only to install a new version of the operating system, released months ago, which does already what Vista will not.

You should know that microsoft is quite slow for creating corrections that doesn’t need another correction.
I wanted to make a long writing about, but, it’s surely not the beast thing to do.
I am quite happy with windows, and I don’t have the choice (beacause of some softwares that don’t have a mac version)
If I have the choice, I will try, and maybe I will make the switch.

I would agree with you if this would have been a single, isolated case. Unfortunately, Microsoft never change, and this is the last, not the final, of a long list… while AutoCAD is coming… (y)
