Which is different from Music For Free… but anyway, from May on iTunes, the entire EMI catalog will be sold without DRM. This means you can download music to be played on every device (not only ipod) and in as many devices as you want. Cool! the other majors should follow the example… BUT! the music will be more expensive: 0.29 cents more per song (for the entire albums it’s still not clear), while the quality will be higher, since the bitrate will be doubled.
Anyway, the news is big: for the first time ever no anti-copy in the digital ‘legal’ world!
Other side news, on iTunes it’s now possible to buy for a discount price albums of which one has already bought a single (or more) song, completing it… interesting.
